I am often asked why we use hot water when we are pressure cleaning?

The simple answer is that hot water/steam cuts and lifts oil, grease and grime.

Cold water pressure cleaning is like washing your pots and pans in cold water, it just does not work when it comes to cleaning oil and grease off concrete floors.

There is a well-established principle that states that the rate of chemical reaction is doubled for each 7C increase in temperature, Arrhenius law.

What this means is that by using hot water we can reduce the amount of harsh cleaning chemicals needed and in most cases we can avoid the need for chemicals all together.
